Hey It's DJ Avalyn. Thought I would put my "bio" up .. since now I am able. If you haven'theard before, my shows called I Got Your Mood Swings! I chose that because I play music for what ever mood I or sometimes you are into at the moment.

Music to me has been alot of things... It was how I "met" my first crush.. Elvis .. I was 5 my mom tells me ..and he was my Elvis. Then.. I simply wore out my dads 45's ..Did you know everyone sounds good singing into a hairbrush? IT's true.

Elementary school meant long bus trips through the German villages and complete embarassment for my brother as I loudly, or loadly as some great DJ's say, sang the absolute wrong lyrics to the songs I heard on Stars and Stripes radio while our school bus made it's journey.

My early teen years were when the best music ever written came about and my best friends older brother introduced me to Queen, Supertramp, ELO, and um..ABBA!

Next I was all about music trivia ,,,and Hit Parader magazine rock stars decorated my walls ... ooo Ritchie Blackmore was my guitar hero and I put down the hairbrush and picked up the AIR GUITAR!

Now that I am a "few" years older .. I love it all .. All the music you love .. and I love connecting to the listeners with the songs I GET TO PLAY! Being a DJ was a dream since I was rockin till the bedroom walls shook.. and now thanks to Maxi for chattin EWC up in the 50's , to Stick for convincing me to do it, and Nilla for making it possible.. I'm a DJ and .. yea .. if you haven't heard... I"VE GOT YOUR MOOD SWINGS!

Tell me what music is to you .. and confess already.. gotta love the ABBA..hehe!

well done ava :-) and to abba i just say one thing , i had to hear it as a teenager so often that i am like umm yeah got it when its been requested lol , its great to have you with us hun .

I know Abba have got somewhat played out over the years, but their songs are complex and very difficult to sing with a huge range, so I don't think we should knock a very successful group who composed and sang their own songs long before it was the done thing.
Yay for Abba....(I hope Shaun reads this ;) )
